Russia's stainless steel imports grow -The 17th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

According to the statistics from the SpetsStal, Russian stainless steel imports in January totaled 14,741 tons, reducing by 36.2% compared to the same period of last year.
During the given period, the country¡¯s imports of steel long products decreased by 22.5%; those of steel flats increased by 48.9%; those of wire rods were up by 184%; all compared from the last month.
Meanwhile, the country¡¯s imports of stainless steel pipes increased by 142%. Imports of billets saw an increase of 67% on the prior corresponding period.
