It¡¯s reported that Yieh Hsing Enterprise, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan released its price policy for March. The company decided to increase its list prices for carbon steel wire rod at NT$300/ton, for the stainless steel wire rod remained unchanged.
The price adjustment mainly is due to the carbon steel raw material rebounds. For stainless, the raw material remained stable. Therefore, the company kept the price flat and downstream customers might take the advantages to purchase at the good timing before nickel prices go up again.
