It¡¯s reported that the European stainless mills, including Outokumpu, Aperam and Acciai Speciali Terni announced to cut alloy surcharges for November.
The LME nickel prices dropped in October. The LME official nickel prices closed at US$14,650/ton on October 27th, slumping by US$1,205/ton from September 30th, causing the European stainless producers decided to cut alloy surcharges for November.
Outokumpu¡¯s November alloy surcharges for 430 grades are at €459/ton, falling by €14/ton from a month ago; those for 304 grades are at €1,315/ton, decreasing by €1,315/ton, falling by €129/ton; those for 316 grades are at €1,951/ton, dropping by €239/ton.
Aperam decided to cut its alloy surcharges for 430 grades by €3/ton to €440/ton. Also, it reduced the alloy surcharges for 304 grades by €132/ton to €1,272/ton and decreased the surcharges by €243/ton to €1,877/ton.
Meanwhile, Acciai Speciali Terni¡¯s November surcharges for 430 grades are at €463/ton, down by €11/ton; those for 304 grades are at €1,312/ton, falling by €125/ton and those for 316 grades are at €1,942/ton, decreasing by €236/ton.
