Vietnam Continues Anti-dumping Duty on Cold Rolled Stainless Steel-The 21st China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

On October 21, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Resolution 3162 / QD-BCT, making the first anti-dumping sunset review of cold-rolled stainless steel products originating in mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia and decided to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on enterprises involved. The resolution entered into force on 26 October 2019 and is valid for five years.

This case involves products under Vietnamese tax numbers 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, 7219.90.00, 7220.20.10, 7220.90, 7220.90.10 and 7220.90.90.
On July 9, 2013, Vietnam launched an anti-dumping investigation into imported cold-rolled stainless steel products originating in mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia. On October 5, 2014, Vietnam formally imposed anti-dumping duties on cold-rolled stainless steel products in the above-mentioned countries. In October 2018, Vietnam launched the first anti-dumping sunset review of cold-rolled stainless steel products from mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia.
