Caloris Engineering acquires Seitz Stainless-The 20th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

Caloris Engineering LLC, a provider of membrane, evaporation and drying technology headquartered in Easton, Md., announced that it has acquired equipment fabricator Seitz Stainless of Avon, Minn., to be operated as a wholly owned subsidiary. The acquisition adds in-house manufacturing to Caloris’ suite of capabilities, which also includes process engineering and design, systems consulting and more. Caloris process solutions are widely implemented in the dairy, juice and food industries.
Caloris Engineering offers evaporators, dryers and membranes to help food and beverage manufacturers process their high-value products. The same concentration and purification equipment is used to treat wastewater in these industries, enabling the reuse of purified water. Seitz Stainless fabricates a variety of components used in food processing systems, such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks and custom equipment.
Seitz Stainless will remain a separate operation and will continue to serve a variety of customers, in addition to Caloris.
Formed over twenty years ago, Seitz Stainless has developed relationships with numerous food, dairy, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and chemical engineering companies to produce their custom equipment. Seitz specializes in low volume, high value sanitary equipment such as evaporation systems, heat exchangers, vapor separators, cyclonic separators, dryers and dryer components, tanks and pressure vessels. Seitz knows and understands 3A design, and has a close working relationship with USDA equipment inspectors
