Surging imports cause Japanese stainless steel CRC mills attention & concern-The 20th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

It was understood that because the increase of inventory will affect market price, Japanese stainless steel cold-rolled manufacturers and distributors quite worried about the surging import quantity.
According to the statistics, total cold-rolled stainless steel inventory for 300 series and 400 series in Japan service center in August increased by 18.7% compared with the same period last year, up to around 123,000 tons, 0.5% higher from last month.
One of Tokyo stainless steel distributors mentioned that most of Japanese manufacturers were to satisfy their long term customers with full operation but the import quantity for cold-
