The April sales progress in stainless steel was quite slow in South Korea. The demand in peak season was without any effective and it made stainless steel distributors become worried for the future. The market participants said that the total sales volume was only 30%, lower than the general level.
It was understood that the sales situation in South Korea market was also the same as that in the fourth quarter 2017 and even became worse.
Generally speaking, the whole market demand was not so good and led to the sales pressure to the enterprises. Besides, the price kept going down compared with last fourth quarter and the stock also continued rising.
