South Korean stainless steel maker to adjust downward sales target for Oct-The 19th China(Guangzhou)Int'l Stainless Steel Industry Exhibition

Because of lower demand and less than 30 working days in October, South Korean stainless steel makers decided to adjust downward October¡¯s sales target, it was second time to adjust downward the sales target since September. Steel makers said that the sales volume might decrease by 60 ¨C 70% of average sales, if the situation was getting worse than the number might not even reach by 50%.
In the meantime, if to lower sale quantity and the selling price was hard to increase and it was the result of deduction of sales. Besides, the raw material was still in the high level but the market was much worse than expectation, at this moment all of steel makers would stay the same price as main market strategy, however it was still tough for steel makers.
