South Korean April steel exports decreased, but the steel unit price continued to rise, the overall steel exports remained upward trend.
According to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy indicated, although South Korean steel exports decreased, but the price continued to rise. In April of this year, South Korean steel exports amounted to US$3.1 billion, increased by 35.9% compared with the same period of last year.
At present, the global steel demand is depressed, and the import conditions will remain uncertainty for all countries. So South Korean government announces that it will propose diversified program to strengthen Korea''s export competitiveness against others.
