It is reported that Algeria group Cevital has signed an agreement with Germany SMS Siemag factory to develop new electric arc furnaces and rolling mills.
Electric arc furnace will have a capacity of 1 million tons, and the mill will produce up to 750,000 tons of steel per year, including special profiles, and 120M long of rail steel. However, the company doesn¡¯t reveal any details about the investment and arrangement.
