Japan NSSMC has announced that the subsidiary of The Siam United Steel (1995) (SUS) and Nippon Steel and Sumikin Galvanizing (Thailand) (NSGT) have agreed to integrate in September this year. Aim is to achieve the integration of Thailand and ASEAN markets with the best steel for automotive steel.
New company name is NS-Siam United Steel (NS-SUS), with annual cold-rolled sheet capacity to 1 million tons, hot-dip galvanized sheet is 360,000 tons. The plant expects to put into production in early September this year.
