According to the Brazil Ministry of Development, Industry and Trade, announced that Brazil planned to raise tariffs on imported steel and final decision would be made within couple weeks.
Meanwhile, most mills are taking measures to protect their own steel market in the world and as well as Brazil. Currently, Brazil imposed tariffs on import steel products were 8-14%, and it expects to raise to 20%.
