Contract manufacturer Precision Cut Industries (PCI). Hanover, Pa., has acquired Washington, D.C.-based Marelco Inc.

The new division will complement PCI’s current capabilities of laser cutting, welding, forming, and assembly. Marelco’s core competencies are punching metal components, forming, welding, CNC machining, wet painting, and silk screening.

Marelco has been in business for 30 years and employs about 20 people. PCI, founded in 1998, employs about 100 people.
