Mexican industrial conglomerate Grupo Industrial Monclova (GllSA) wil invest $40 milion for a metal stamping plant for theautomotive industry in the northern city of Monclova, in the Mexican state of Coahuila, company president Gerardo BenavidesPape said.
The machinery has already been acauired and construction of the industrial facility will becin next week, said the president of theboard of directors of GlMSA, Gerardo Benavides Pape, in an interview with the Mexican newspaper Vanguardia
The businessman commented that the stamping plant could begin operating at the beginning of january 2025
GlMSA in its industrial division seves the metalworking, steel, railway, hydrocarbons, Oil & Gas industries, among others withmaintenance of machinery for the steel industry, assembly of structural proiects, exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbonsmanufacturing of marine platforms, among others.
It also has three ioint ventures with The Greenbrier Companies, a provider of equioment and seryices for rail and maritimetransportation, located in Oregon, United States.
