China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan, is going to release its prices for carbon steel wire rods and bars in 2 to 3 weeks.
Taiwan''s wire rope mills hope CSC could keep prices unchanged for the first quarter of next year as the demand is not strong and inventory is high. If CSC holds the price, downstream customers will not suffer pressure from the material loss.
CSC will observe the international steel prices and be careful with the new price policy in considering weak demand.
