It was reported that Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau said that Canada was striving to appeal US President Trump to exclude Canada from the list of 232 steel and aluminum tariffs.
Trudeau denoted that he had joined forces with congressmen, governors and affected enterprises to invoke President Trump to request the US to cancel Canada''s steel and aluminum tariffs during the review process.
Regarding why Canada still signed the USMCA issue without the 232 tariffs being cancelled, Trudeau responded that as the priority government had to ensure that the trade agreement would be completed for the Canadian people during the unpredictable and protectionist generation.
