Brazilian steel enterprise Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) said last week that it will expand its sheet production during the period 2019-2023 and will also spend R$1.3 billion on various of steelmaking investment projects.
CSN did not announce the detailed production targets for flat steel but also had not customized a precise timetable for the proposed project so far. The firm stated that the investment of R$1.3 billion included the renovation projects of blast furnace as well as reducing costs.
Ultimately Brazilian steel industry has been showing its emerged and developed results after years of low performance. Also, its total annual sales of steel had been improved from 4.9 million tons in 2017 to 5.1 million tons in the first quarter to the third quarter of 2018.
