German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA) chairman mentioned on December 11th that German mechanical equipment manufacturing companies will further proceed spreading out in Chinese market.
In addition, the chairman figured out that unilateralism and trade protectionism will lead to a negative impact on the German machinery and equipment manufacturing industry.
Based on the latest data from VDMA, the export volume of the German machinery and equipment manufacturing industry in the first three quarters of 2018 increased by 5.2% year-on-year to 131.9 billion euros. Among them, exports to China reached 14.23 billion euros, an increase of 11.4%.
Therefore, China has become one of the most important export markets for the German machinery and equipment manufacturing industry.
