Vietnam keeps AD duties on steel imports from China & South Korea-2019 China(Guangzhou) Int’l Laser Equipment and Sheet Metal Industry Exhibition

According to report, Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) on Monday said it decided to keep anti-dumping duties on H-shaped and coated steel products from China and South Korea.
It was within 60 days before the end of one year on the issuance date of the decision. The applicants submitted the request for review for the anti-dumping measures.
MoIT decided to impose anti-dumping measures for H-shaped steel products from China since August 2017. The current taxes rate on China was 20.48~29.4%.
MoIT has imposed anti-dumping duties on imported coated steel from China and South Korea since March 2017.
MoIT only removed Hong Kong in July 2017 from the tax bracket. The current anti-dumping duties on coated steel imports from China were 3.17~ 38.34% and those for China were 7.02~19%.
