JSW Steel acquires Dolvi Minerals & Metals-2019 China(Guangzhou) Int’l Laser Equipment and Sheet Metal Industry Exhibition

It was reported that Indian JSW Steel acquired of Dolvi Minerals and Metals for the remaining 60.004% stake with 1.09 billion rupees.
JSW Steel held stakes earlier for 39.996% of the Dolvi. The company engaged in metallic and non-metllic minerals including coal and lignite, coal products and iron steel products.
Dolvi Minerals and Metals had Dolvi Coke Projects as it will build up a coke oven plant and supply coke to JSW Steel''s Dolvi plant with annual capacity of about 5 million tons. The coke oven plant’s total annual capacity was 3 million tons, which was supplied from 4 units,
JSW Steel also engaged in acquisition of bankrupt Bhushan Power and Steel which might add its capacity for 3.1 million tons a year.
