According to the MDIC, Brazil¡äs foreign trade ministry data showed that the country¡äs total sheet steel imports reached 49,629 tons in October, fell significantly by 25.7% compared to 66,816 metric tons in same month of last year.
During the first the months of 2017, Brazil imported 541,745 metric tons of sheet steel, up sharply by 123.1% to 242,750 tons compared with the same period of last year. The imports amounted to US$318.92 million, increased by 166.9% compared with the same period of last year.
