According to the Japan Iron and Steel Federation data showed that Japan''s hot-rolled plate and sheet shipments were 708,000 tons in August, increased by 1.1% compared with July, fell by 14% compared with the same period of last year.
Among them, the 81.6% of shipments into the domestic market, the rest of 18.4% shipments to the export market.
In August, Japanese cold-rolled sheet and strip shipments were 474,000 tons, decreased by 4.2% compared with July, up by 3% compared with the same period of last year. Among them, the 53.4% of shipments into the domestic market, the rest of
46.6% shipments to the export market.
