After the explosion of blast furnace last Friday, Benxi Steel had not choice but to delay the delivery of export orders which were supposed to be finished in October. Also, the new export quotation of Benxi Steel rose by about US$25/ton.
China''s steel product export quotation hasn''t shown a remarkable increase for a period of time. However, the export price has made a grow of US$10/ton because of the accident.
The export quotation price of Chinese steel product has changed quickly these days. Therefore, the prices from Taiwan seemed to be more competitive, traders said.
