China''s steel market has bounced back a bit after the booming, some of market participants in Taiwan remained conservative, which worried that the new list price increase from Taiwan¡¯s China Steel Corporation (CSC) would affect the export order taking.
However, the mechanical equipment, metal tooling, industry mechanical, electronical components, precision mechanical industries all hold a positive outlook for the second half of 2017.

For July and Aug, the bicycle industry had seen a better order taking and delivery, and it is expected that Taiwan''s export orders will be sustainable as long as the global economy keep recovering.
Under this circumstance, the main steel consumption industries will be keeping good performance to boost the steel price till the fourth quarter of 2017.
