According to Argentina¡äs Steel Chamber (CAA) data showed that Argentina¡¯s crude steel production reached 367,400 tons in April, increased by 15.1% compared with the same month last year, but fell by 6.3% compared with previous month when it registered 392,300 tons.
Primary iron production during the month was 337,700 tons, down by 3% compared with previous month, increased by 48.4% compared with the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, the production of cold rolled steel sheet during the month was 110,000 tons, increased by 5.7% compared with previous month, and down by 19.4%compared with the same period of last year.
