Despite this year Korea investment expected slowly recovery in construction industry, but car and shipbuilding industries are expected to remain weak. Therefore, Korea Iron and Steel Enterprises will continue to face difficulties time in 2016.
Korea might through imports steel competition and expanding exports, in order to solve the current problem.
Posco Research Institute (POSRI) recently published the year 2016, Korea steel market outlook report that Korea domestic steel sales will recover slightly this year and exports will slow growth.
The steel imports will remain an important position for Korea. In 2016, the Korea domestic steel sales expect to rise 0.6%, with nearly 56 million tons.
