India Essar steel company announced that the company produced 500,000 tons of plates, an increase of 62%, hit sheet maximum monthly production in March history this year. The company's capacity utilization rate was 70%.
While in the 4th quarter of 2015-16 the fiscal year ending March 31, Essar¡¯s rude steel production rose from 43% to 1.24 million tons year on year; plate production rose 34% to 1.23 million tons year on year.
